First of all - thank you for doing a very tough job. My post was not...


intended in any way to disparage the teachers who work hard and provide an immeasurable service to kids and society.

With that being said, the kids are over-prepped for SOL's. I understand why, but my kids have barely studied for the SOLs and done very well - they are essentially force-fed studying in class. I think that they are missing the challenge of having to do that prep work on their own and I think that is doing them a disservice.

Again - thank you for teaching.
