Rumors about him being the best QB in camp last fall but the coaches were keeping him out of sight so he wouldn’t upset the Apple cart in a year he cannot contribute. No idea if that’s true but it does seem to be tinfoil hat like on its surface. That being said, the slight scratching of the surface seems to point to there being some truth to it. The scholarship is step 1 in validating that. We’ll see.
