Name recognition does not equal fanbase


Miami's undergrad enrollment is 40% that of VT. Half of those are from OOS. And half of that half is from south Florida. Tuition and fees are double that of VT (in-state). Not a recipe for a large, die-hard following. I'm not sure it matters much where their stadium is.

Miami's name recognition is great for getting eyes to watch on TV. But tickets are not hard to get.
