As this season has unfolded, and it still has a long way to go, I began to ponder the same question. If the status-quo or worse evidences itself several more years, our historical lack of success could certainly be the underlying problem. To some extent, UVA suffers from its historical performance on the gridiron as it attempts to get that program reversed.
Yesterday was particularly disappointing in that we were gutted by a player we almost landed. And, of course, Buzz is a terrific, hard-working recruiter, but even he came up short.
Looks like we are in a wait-and-see situation. Hopefully, we turn the tide.
