I agree. But I could see ND insisting on adding a big market.


Jack Swarbrick has been all about playing games in stadiums in big markets.

Part of agreeing to join the ACC was Syracuse games in MetLife Stadium. ND tried to get both Rutgers and UConn into series with them, but only if the Rutgers or Uconn home games were at MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands.

ND gets Navy to play at FedEx Field or Ravens Stadium. They just finished a series with Temple.

I could see Notre Dame wanting some teams like Temple or USF for big market games. Philadelphia and Tampa would provide big market games.

I prefer the rivalries, but part of this would involve what Notre Dame would want.
