Now a-days, yes, if you complain to a doctor about a headache, and hit your

head you have a concussion.

My daughter slipped and fell at dance last week, and bumped her head. Now remember, if you are slipping, your arms are going down to break the fall. She came home and complained that she did it, but had 0 signs of concussion. She went to school the next day and got sent to the nurse. I got the call that I had to pick her up and take her to the doctor, even though she wasn't dizzy, didn't feel queezy, or anything else. I picked her up and didn't intend on taking her to the doctor, but was told I had to have a doctor's note when she could take PE again. She is on concussion protocol. She was not real happy with me that she didn't get to go to volleyball, or dance for this week, but I don't think she will visit the nurse for every bump anymore either.
