At 11-4 (0-2) it didn't even look like an NIT team to me tbqh. The ACC schedule is just such a monster it was hard to see where the wins were going to come. I didn't think we could get to 6-12 at that point (much less 6-5 w/ 7 games to go).

I still think we need another win or two to lock up NIT btw. It's not as easy as it used to be to get into that thing with like 17 or 18 total wins. I think we had 19 wins (10-8 ACC) when we were a 3 seed two years ago, and I think 5 or maybe 6 seed is about as far down as the at-large bids go for that thing now.

So, yeah...would I take a 2-4 finish to go 19-12 (8-10) and a 1 or 2 seed in the NIT? Probably. If we find another win somewhere and sneak into the NCAA, all the better.
