Wonder if her spare key was already in the car.

I'm surprised he was able to put the car in gear without key/key fob not being in car and then driving it for an hour when remote starts typically auto shutoff after a set time (10 minutes in my vehicles). Makes me think her 2nd key was already in the car. Makes him getting caught even funnier.
