I have a variety of Phillips Hue Smart Lights, that are compatible with

Alexa. The Hue app allows me to set various timers and routines for when I'm home and away. I can also monitor what the lights are doing when I'm away from home as well, or turn on the lights when I pull up to the house, etc.

The smart lights are Alexa compatible, so I can use voice commands with Alexa to turn lights on and off, dim them, etc.

I highly recommend the Phillips Hue lights. Watch for sales on Amazon.
