I was taught that by my dad from early on.

It's not always easy to do the right thing, and sometimes you may pay dearly for it, maybe even with your life, but you must do the right thing. That is what my dad taught me, in our in-depth conversations about WWII while I was growing up.

You never know what you will do when faced with a situation. If ever face with a terrible situation I hope I would remember that lesson and do the right thing and not be a bystander.
