Duke (8 or 9) - Elon, Utah Valley, Southern, Furman, Portland St, South Dakota, St Francis (PA), Evansville, and maybe St. John's

Michigan St (8 or 9) - North Florida, Stony Brook, maybe DePaul, Southern Utah, Oakland, Houston Baptist, Long Beach St, Cleveland St, and Savannah St

Cincinnati (7) - Savannah St, Western Carolina, Coppin St, Buffalo, Alabama St, AR-Pine Bluff, and Cleveland St

#10Auburn (7 or 8) - Norfolk St, Indiana St, Hofstra, Winthrop, Gardner-Webb, George Mason, maybe Davidson (13-10), and Dayton

UVA (6 or 7) - NC-Greensboro, Austin Peay, Monmouth, Lehigh, maybe Davidson, Savannah St, and Hampton

If the name on the jersey is not a factor, then why are the "big dogs" not penalized for playing bad OOC games especially if they end up playing more than VT?
