They have quantity yes....but Texas has dominated getting the top talent
in that state forever and been through multiple good coaches. When there is that much quantity, seems like a tendency to push more kids to the top of the national lists, making some good kids that would be good 4's in other smaller states high 4's and 5's in Texas, simply because someone is going to be better than the other guys in any system judging talent. Same applies to California and Florida. Take a mid-high 4star prospect from a smaller state, they may way have been a 5 star kid if from one of those 3 states.
It's not a big big deal, about the only place it's applicable is when you are rating recruiting classes nationally.
