For the record, I was Person A, vt90 jr was Person B, and Mrs vt90 was Person C (as suggested by dans93). I wasn't looking to lay blame - we all laughed about it once we figured out what happened and that was 24 hours after the incident. vt90 jr had to go to hitting and couldn't find his bat bag ... and then it hit me that Mrs vt90 called me the previous evening to say that something had 'fallen off the car' while she was driving ... and that in the rear view mirror it looked 'big and black' (yes ... I did make a joke about it at the time).

I will add a few more details. First, there really isn't any way that Mrs vt90 would have seen the bag before getting into the car. You have to walk around the back of the car to get around to the driver's side. Second, I believe vt90 jr should have had the sense not to 'cram' the bag in between the bumper and the garage wall but he says he always puts it there. No one yelled at anyone ... as so many pointed out, sometimes sh!t just happens.

When I told my neighbor the story he said he saw the bag upright and right in the middle of a lane a full hour after it dislodged from the car. I only hope that it didn't do damage to anyone else's vehicle. However, as I told my son, it's about time that bat hit something! :)
