I know they're talking college football, but I have to say this

Vick rushed for over 6,000 career yards as an NFL QB. That's an NFL record. Whoever is in second place only has 3,700 yards.

Ahem!

If Jackson rushes for over 6,000 yards in his NFL career, I personally will prolly still consider Vick the better player. In college Vick was bonafide lightening in a jar. He carried his team to a 22-2 record (one loss vs. Miami he played a minimum amount with a sprained ankle before giving way to his back-up [Noel?]) over two years, a MNC run, a #2 ranking as a redshirt freshman, and was third in the Heismann which had never been done before. Vick had unparalleled speed. Jackson was not as electrifying as a runner, was not able to carry his team to a MNC or such a lofty ranking, and lost way more than 2 games in any 2 year stretch you may want to consider.

Jackson is good, but Vick was special. Adjectives attached to Vick I've never heard attached to Jackson. I'll admit I never watched or heard called games of Jackson as much as Vick, so I may have missed the adjectives, but I doubt Jackson ever developed the love affair that Vick did. After all, Jackson played for Louisville and Bobby Petrino, neither of which will ever be considered lovable. Scum is the better adjective.

It's a debate that will continue ad infinitum, but that's my two cents. Oh! Final point. Vick was the overal #1 draft pick. I don't think Jackson will even be the first QB picked. In a pick up game you'll never go wrong picking Vick for your team.
