If a taxi and uber have insurance the experience in dealing with ...


the insurance company should be the same. This will be a 3rd party claim. Once the medical treatment is completed and loss wages are known the claim can be negotiated and settled. They will not pay as you go-1st party insurance is contractual. If he has health insurance his medical gets paid as it goes. If he has short term disability through work he can get that taken care of per the contract.

I don't see the difference from dealing with an Uber insurance carrier or taxi carrier.
