Wouldn't the upgraded talent coming to the G league solve a lot of that?
People don't care now because the players in the g league are just guys who couldn't make an NBA roster, if you have guys entering that league every year who are Wooden award finalists that might change things.
Although a lot depends on the structure IMO....eg are guys who come out right after HS forced to go to the G league or are a lot of them gonna go right to the league? If that's the case, then the G league is still an after thought, just at a slightly higher level of talent.
And RE salary, based on the AZ news, sounds like $200k (~$150k after taxes) is about the minimum to make the cost benefit worth it :)
