Once I had a 35 minute wait in ATL for a connecting flight

They announced the flight would be delayed at least an hour and a half.

So I went and found a sit-down restaurant that had good southern cooking and ordered a meal, probably about 200 yards from my departing gate.

There was a departures sign just outside the restaurant and while waiting for my meal to come, I got up and went to the restroom and glanced at the sign and it said my flight was suddenly departing on time... in other words in about 15 minutes.

I had to cancel my order and make a run for it.
