First of all... when did it become Farrell's job to go rip the ball away from CC? The officials could have called a double T for that, ive seen it called before. It is the officials job to get the ball ready for play, not opposing player.

If they are going to let that go, I would coach players to do it at every opportunity. It always leads to an altercation, and refs typically call the response, not the initial action.

But my shower thoughts this morning were this: Would it have been called differently if CC had ripped the ball away from Farrell and Farrell have CC a slight push? don't know why, but I think the officials may have let it go if it were the other way around. Refs seem to love Farrell.

just curious at your thoughts. I don't think that play really mattered... was 2 points, but momentum had already shifted, and outcome seemed inevitable.
