For like 2-3 weeks. There were a good number of games where neither team got into the bonus in either half. Then it vanished, and we were back to 2 1/2 hour whistlefests. Like holding in football, fouls can be called on almost every possession in basketball, and the good refs are consistent about how they call games, whether they call it tight or loose.
