A couple of final thoughts on the bracket...
1. I actually thought the committee did a fairly good job this year.
2. I do not get the angst over Oklahoma State being left out. They were 5-12 against Q1. When you play 17 games against Q1 you probably are going win a few. But no one with their computer numbers (KenPom and BPI in the high 50s, RPI in the 80s) is getting an at large, I don't care whom you have beaten.
3. I wish the committee took the approach of leaving mid-majors out vs. mid-level power conference teams 8 years ago. St. Mary's computer numbers are better than the RPI, but still, they beat no one. They were 1-2 against Power 5 schools (won @Cal, lost to WSU).
4. The only team that I think had a small beef was Notre Dame, but even that was small.
5. I like when networks take risks and try new things, but I'll join the echoes and state that yesterday's selection show format did not work.
