When TE started showing up in mock drafts as a first round pick, even these boards were shocked. People outside VT are still asking, "Who is this guy?" The draft reviews all read the same: He has freakish size and speed, and oh yeah, he had a few sacks and tackles, but his "upside is immense." Read: What do we say about him? Whatever his stats and conference honors, he wasn't well known even within the conference beyond football eggheads. That's the definition of barely noticed.
