I feel sorry for the ones who are 'normal' sports fans and engage in good-natured banter with me during football and hoops seasons.

I do not feel sorry one bit for the large number of people who didn't even go to the freaking school but have 'adopted' the condescending, elitist attitude that seems to go hand-in-hand with being a UVA fan. Having spent most of the past 20 years living in the western suburbs of Richmond, there are so many of that type here that it gives the real alums a bad name. Many of those people also tend to cluster on Le Sabre.
