This will be the most mentioned ACC title in history I suspect, surpassing

what I assume I'm not alone in calling the previous #1: 1974's NC State over UMD. That of course was known and mentioned for being a great (the greatest) game and being a big part of why the tournament looks like it does today.

Most titles are mostly unremarkable; no one ever mentions the 2008 ACC Champion. If anything, it's just a tally mark for someone's "Most ACC Titles" list.

However, this years will be mentioned a lot and it will go a little something like this

"Despite winning the ACC Championship," you know the rest.
