...a bunch of doctors are "over prescribing" such a dangerous drug like that. I understand why it's (ethically) prescribed for pain after surgery and/or serious injury, but not why some doctors are handing them out like candy. I don't know of any doctors who would ever consider doing it, but clearly there are some out there who just don't care what they're doing to their patients.
