looking at the evidence without my hokie goggles on, not sure why a high 4 star or 5 star running back will want to play in this system, and please convince me otherwise. McMillan had his faults but he was a 1,000 rusher behind a fairly inept OL and system and regressed, and we have finished near the bottom of rushing efficiency in the ACC, plus the running back by committee doesn't help. I think it will be really helpful if a running back (McClease) emerges this year to have a bulk of the carries and get close to if not over 1,000 yards.

Now don't get me wrong, as long as we have a good offense that leads to 10+ wins, I could care less if we get those bluechip running backs to come here.
