Just watched his recruiting video and enjoyed his use of the Metallica track!

Was just wondering- since Metallica is now part of VT legend, I was wondering if VT does any regular outreach to the band. I’d think that if VT offered them a box at one home game at some point (which I can’t imagine is that much, considering what VT is probably paying in usage royalties), then maybe they might be interested in coming to town to play for halftime some time- hopefully sooner than later! Imagine the guys watching a full stadium of fans jumping up and down to the opening song!

Saw them in concert last year and they were just as amazing 20 years ago. Forget Justin Timberlake or RHCPs, I think we all want Metallica to play a VT halftime show one of these years- before we or they grow old!!

Thinking of what the football program has added to VT culture over the last 30 years, just imagine how much more Metallica might add. I’m definitely okay with an edgy, exciting, stadium jumping culture for VT culture.
