I assume he'd be able to take advantage of graduate transfer rules if so?


Sitting out a full year like a regular transfer isn't an option. My recollection is sitting out a full year while enrolled at VT wouldn't help his case, since you normally have to have a full year at the new school before being eligible.

But I suspect that with 3 years at VT plus one at UNC-G and JUCO, he's probably gotten enough credit for a degree. If not, he'd probably have that after December worst case.

I hope he sticks it out at VT, but I wish him all the best no matter what he does. With everything he's gone through at VT, he surely deserves it.
