Boone was a great athlete who never got a chance to be QB starter


Even after switching to TE, Boone ran the Wild Turkey offense effectively. If Boone was given a chance to play QB, he probably would have been a multi-year QB starter at Tech. Tyrod Taylor was QB during Boone's time so Boone probably wouldn't have been able to beat out Tyrod Taylor, a multi-year NFL starter.
