JJ is not the answer. He had one of the all time Hokie receivers in Phillips and constantly under shot him if it hadn’t been for Phillips he would’ve looked a lot worse than what he did. Evans was twice the qb that boy made some plays almost took out Clemson. JJ looked totally lost against them and Evans played the better Clemson team.
When will coaches learn to play your best no matter what, if Ryan can throw the deep ball accurately we can score in 1 play and if defenses have to watch for it we should be able to rack up on the runs. It’s not rocket science.
Go back and watch some games JJ was too short or too far not where he needed to be. Notice who the wr was most time a big play happened. One bomb hit off the wr and happened to direct right to peoples. I don’t have nothing against JJ is personally think he’s got heart but I’m not sure he takes us where we want to go-playoffs
