Hypothetical situation regarding 1999 season to ponder during the dead . .
period. If the ACC had decided to expand sooner, and had it's current membership and format in 1999, what do you think the result might have been? Do you think we still go undefeated in the regular season? If so, do we beat F$U in the ACC championship game and go on to play Nebraska in the NC game?
Here are a couple of caveats:
- We replace Rutgers, Temple, and Syracuse with Duke, UNC, and Georgia Tech
- The Clemson and BC games are our two Atlantic division crossover games
- Our three out-of-conference games are JMU, UAB, & WVU
Other than I have way too much time on my hands, what do you think?
