I would be skeptical of that projection...


I don't think there was any way he was a first rounder after this past season. I also never saw that projection, so I can't confirm the validity of it.

However, I could definitely see him being drafted next season in the 24-40 range. Good teams use those slots to stash players they don't need in the immediate. And NAW fits that bill. He could play on a 2-way contract until he is seasoned or a roster spot opens up and play his way into a longer contract after the rookie contract.
