many (not all necessary but many) top 5 in-state recruits. CFB proved in the '90s and early part of this century that he could win ACC Championships although, in all fairness, the ACC then was not as competitive as it is now. As a result CFB got a decent share of those recruits. CJF is going to have to prove himself with the talent he has, pure and simple. If he wins an ACC Championship soon the Devon Fords and the Brandon Smiths will start to come this way making it easier to continue to win ACC Championships. If CJF cannot accomplish that we will have to be satisfied with the level of talent we have now, winning seasons, decent bowl games but no ACC Championships and few high-level bowl games. I actually think he can do it but it would help if he took advantage of the current opening in the defensive coaching staff and the Director of Player Personnel position recently vacated and hire some top level, sure fire recruiting aces and send them to the 757 and central Virginia areas.
