Good CC article on ZB’s importance to VT. What’s the takeaway though? He is a critical recruiter; what is the best position for him to coach, though?

I don’t believe it is RBs. If he needs to coach a position, I think he should coach a less important position than RBs. Previously, Galen Scout coached safeties, and ZB has coached DBs. At the same time, Justin Hamilton played as a safety and has some experience coaching DBs and linebackers. My thought would be to a less critical position and bring in a true RB coach.

Maybe he wants to be the RB coach- in that case, make him happy so he continues to succeed as a top VT recruiter. I wonder how happy he is though, compared to when he was the receivers coach.
