While I generally subscribe to this thought, CB is probably the easiest...
...position to pick up. Elite athleticism can allow a player to make up for technique errors (to some degree) and a coach can simplify coverages to make playing the spot easier for an inexperienced player.
That said, I'm not really expecting Farley to be a stud CB just yet. Heck, I'm not yet convinced he'll even start. As you said, he's coming off injury AND lacks experience.
However, the combination of this player at this spot creates a scenario where such a thing (Farley taking a CB spot and playing well right away) may be possible, albeit unlikely.
