Carlock was a legend and had much success.


Just observing from the outside, it was hard work that pushed his teams over the top. He reminded me a lot of a legendary coach at my HS, Harry Fry. Carlock and Fry's teams butted heads from 1970 to 1982 (if Carlock started at Graham in 1970), but I understand that they were good friends.
