I'm going to go a little old school here but I don't really anything
wrong with what he did. I get that he's the defender and it's behind the play but in between the whistles it's attack or be attacked. It wasn't like a blind side, Peoples braced himself and was ready to and did strike a reciprocal blow.
It's certainly unnecessary but growing up playing the game, you did that kind of stuff. You looked for contact. Not smart football, but not illegal football either.
