ECU should have waited until Wednesday (even if they had full intention of still cancelling it). At the same time, VT shouldn't have thrown ECU under the bus. Gotta remember the last time a major hurricane nailed Greenville. 52 people died, many of them in that area. Thousands had to be rescued from floodwaters.

That said, with the current forecast, I think ECU could have traveled up a day early on Thursday, VT could have housed them, and the game could have been played. But it's never wrong to err on the side of caution.
