Agree, his philosophy didn't quite match the culture

For all the abuse he took, Stiney was probably in the same boat. Think back - when was the last time you saw the 2nd string QB get in a game and throw passes? When was the last time you saw the 3rd string guys in and score a TD? The 2nd string guy normally handed the ball off and then went back into the victory formation. The 3rd string guy didn't bother to bring his helmet to the field.
