If ECU and VT had an agreement to wait until Wednesday to make a joint announcement (and it sounds like they did), then why in the world would ECU decide to unilaterally cancel and publicly announce on Tuesday? Why not work it out with VT behind the scenes?

I'm happy everyone is safely out of harm's way, but the way ECU handled this was bush league.
