I can't remember when I said that last, if ever, but having been a VT fan for 55 years, and an alum for 45 years, I just don't care to see any more games this year. That was the sorriest effort I've seen since Jerry Claiborne's last days,and those of his two followers, Sharpe and Coffey, especially as a 28.5 point favorite losing by 14 to a semi-high school team. Foster seemed to have completely lost an ability to adjust, even to a win-less team that lost to Charlotte and two other teams before playing us. This could be a miserable year unless the coaches get this undisciplined, unprepared team in gear. It is time for a major gut check, including a DC who seemed to be one of the better DCs in college football. ODU scored, almost at will, and Foster could not do a thing to stop a very bad team from scoring 45 points. 45 points by Alabama would be acceptable, but not a team that 0-3 coming in.
