Hi Everyone,

Lots of changes in my life over the past 10 years have kept me mostly away from Blacksburg. I attended games in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 but haven't been back since the Miami game in 2011. My wife and 3-year-old daughter (at the time) were with me for that game, and we had a blast!

We live in New Mexico and went to the Sun Bowl against UCLA, but that's the last live game I made.

My daughter, now 10, and I are coming this weekend for a daddy/daughter trip, while my wife stays home with our rambunctious and small attention span 4-year-old son.

We have decent seats in the west stands, but here are my questions...

Best place to park without a parking pass (arriving in Blacksburg early to mid-afternoon)?
Any of you mind us crashing your tailgate if we bring some sodas or something?
Thinking we'll try to get in the stadium pretty early, like 6:30 or so, to settle in and see all the pre-game festivities. Is that early enough?

We're getting super excited!
