Defense- our defense is young, inexperienced, etc... taking off my orange and maroon glasses, I say Bud is a top 15, if not top 10 DC... with this defense and with the rest of the teams we’re playing, aside from GT, holding the opponent to under 24 a game should be a realistic goal for the defense... this means giving up FGs instead of TDs, better tackling and coverage, cutting back on big plays, and hoping our offense doesn’t help the other team with getting 24... Bud has a great track record and can hopefully achieve this goal in 3 or 4 of the last 5 games even with a young D... it’s tough for me getting to disappointed with the inexperienced D... the fact I’m putting my mark at 24 should speak to that.

As for the offense, that’s a different story!!! I have been extremely disappointed with this unit and they definitely don’t have the same track record as Bud and the D in seasons past... they should have the realistic goal of scoring over 24 points a game and they get the help of the defense and special teams with this. Our offense should be able to score at least 24 points in our last 5 games, aside from maybe Miami.

So to sum it up... IMO if we score more than 24 and lose, it’s on the defense...

If we score less than 24 and lose, it’s on the offense...
