The LaBlue review. Pretty much what I've been saying for a while and spot on. Make no mistake. I love coach Beamer and how he elevated us into relevancy.

On the other hand, I think he fell into the same trap as Paterno, Bobby Bowdon and others. He stayed a little longer than perhaps he should have. He was also a little too into, not just second, but third and fourth chances. It hurt his legacy and it hurt VTs image. MV2 should have been dismissed right after the Elvis Dumervil stomp. He should not have played another snap.

I believe given time, Coach Fuente will re-elevate us, but it will take time. I also personally love the no nonsense approach to discipline. I don't care how good you can play, if having you there is going to wind up besmirching the school I love, if you can't toe the line, then go be somebody elses' problem.

Here's hoping for success in our last two games, although I'm frankly not holding my breath. I'm not even sure the ship will get righted in the next year, but I do believe it will and coach Fuente will lead it.
