That said I thought he was/is much better than Ashby. To me he was much more effective then Ashby, a much better tackler and faster. Ashby may make less mistakes, but he doesn’t make the big play. I can completely understand him wanting to leave, I would have kept him in the lineup over Ashby, but that is based solely on the Pitt game. Ashby didn’t do much against Miami.
