I just do not understand all the love for Shane as a HC

on this board. Yes, he is a Hokie first, and the son of Frank Beamer.

Yes, as the associate head coach for VT he step in for one game with Frank's illness. Yes, he did a great job.

Yes, Shane has move around and worked for some damn good coaches outside of Frank.

With that, I never see him as a head coach at ECU. Maybe a Murray state, a JMU to start, and for now I doubt that. I want Shane to succeed in the end.
