I would contend, excluding yesterday's screw up, Kirby has not done anything really exceptional or bad or outside the normal realm of expectation for a coach that has access to the talent and resources he does at Georgia. In a few years, if he gets over the hump and actually wins one, I will have to eat my words but, at present the real difference I see between he and Richt is Kirby has been the beneficiary of an easier SEC East than what Richt faced.
