Think about it. It took us:

- FSU having an off year for the second time in like 36 years
- Guys to step up in Trevon Hill's (arguably our best and most experienced defender on the field) position
- UNC missing wide open guys for easy TDs
- The UNC fumble on our goal line + driving the field 98 yards for the TD
- Beating a ranked (pretty defensively sound) Duke team
- The Dalton Keene hail mary-like catch
- UVA missing guys for easy TD throws
- The recovered TD in the end zone by Grimsley
- Charles Snowden missing the sack on Ryan Willis
- The 40 yard field goal (which honestly we hadn't hit one of those in a long time)
- The Bryce Perkins fumble
- Beating an 8-3 Marshall team

It was a very unlikely year, one where I'm sure a lot of us (myself included) were coming to terms with losing our Cup and bowl streak.
