Remember when everybody was saying RW was a turnover machine because

of his Kansas stats: 11 TDs vs 17 ints.

Well, now he's got 22 TDs vs 8 ints and two of those ints bounced off of WRs hands.

And is there any question Ryan Willis is the better runner than JJ?

Cut from recent article:

Former Kansas quarterback Ryan Willis has started in Jackson’s place going 4-5 as a starter. He’s thrown for 2,497 yards (58 percent) with 22 touchdowns and eight interception. He’s coming off one of his best games of the season against Marshall. Willis threw for 312 yards (69 percent) and four touchdowns, one shy of tying a school record.

It his third 300-yard passing game of the season.

“He plays as hard as he can play,” Fuente said, after the game of Willis. “He made some plays for us particularly in the first half. Really kind of set the tone and established the momentum in the football game. I think it speaks a lot to his character and his work ethic. This is a kid that came in, was a backup and kept plugging away. Kept trying to learn. Kept trying to do the right thing and got his opportunity. It’s nice to see him have success.”

Can anybody honestly say they're not surprised with his success this season?

He's proven to me that he's the best QB to lead this team next season and for every practice & game he goes through, he gets that much better.
