RS for JJ?

Apologies if previously discussed- with the injury, JJ should be eligible for RS, which makes him a rising RS Sophomore instead of JR. Forgot about the possibility of medical RS.

Given HH and QP, I wonder how that might play out. I think RW is the best QB option on 1/1/19. By 1/1/20, I think that is QP. But JJ would have two years left after 2019, and more game experience, if RW beats him out for 2019 and JJ is the 2019 back-up.

I think RW wins the Spring and I think that puts him on a more even in-program experience level with JJ for the fall. I think QP waiting makes him the heir after JJ, but I don’t know when that transition would occur. I think he would need a lot more game experience before he could replace JJ. I don’t see that happening in 2019.

In any event, 2019, and possibly even 2020 should be light years better than 2018, given the team’s overall maturation.

Isn’t that what many assumed earlier this year anyway? Captain Obvious signing off.
