CC's article has me convinced the time for Quincy Patterson is now...

If I were the coaches I would let him play at least one quarter in the bowl game with a stripped down package. I would rather give QP a shot here because as much as we talk about X's and O's. Its not enough to call the right play, or to have the right game plan any more. In my opinion all that will get us is the middle of the pack in a Power 5 conference. Its the players that ultimately will make the difference in getting us back near the top of the ACC. If QP can tote the rock as well as Evans this offense will explode, it will also mask the fact that our RB recruiting has only been so so.

I really like JJ and RW, but it seems like neither of them have all the tools to make the offense go the way it needs to. JJ actually reminds me of Chris Leak. A guy that isn't necessarily as good of an athlete as other guys at his height and weight, but...he was pretty much raised to be a QB. He is solid, but not a difference maker IMO. We need a QB that can really run to make this thing go.
